Dane & Margot are my kind of people. They would rather be skiing or mountain biking than walking through the mall or sitting in a cubicle. They admitted they're not very comfortable in front of the camera, so I suggested we go someplace that speaks to who they are! Empire Pass is located at the very top of Deer Valley Resort, high above Historic Park City. During the ski season, this is where you access some of the most extreme terrain Deer Valley has to offer. What's better is this is where their wedding ceremony will be when the snow melts!
We arrived about an hour before sunset and and I loved how the sun was peaking in and out of the clouds. The variable lighting was fun to work with. To make the shoot painless and fun, we spent time talking, joking, and just hiking around the mountain top. I loved working with them and love how this shoot was fun and carefree and shows just how fun these two are to spend the rest of their lives together! I can't wait to share the wedding with them this summer! :)
